1917 - the First World War devastates Europe. In contrast, Switzerland appears to be an oasis of peace. But in reality, behind the scenes in neutral Switzerland, a war of spies between the world powers is raging. A young nurse wants her illegitimate child back and agrees to spy for the German Reich.
